ABOUT NICHOLAS BARLOW

Nicholas Barlow is a curator living in Los Angeles. His work focuses on modern and contemporary photography, time-based media, and film. He is currently a curatorial assistant at the Hammer Museum, where he has recently assisted on the exhibitions Lifes (2022), Paul McCarthy: Head Space, Drawings 1963–2019 (2020), and Tishan Hsu: Liquid Circuit (2020), as well as projects by artists David Hartt and Ho Tzu Nyen. Previously, he was a curatorial assistant at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where he helped organize projects including 3D: Double Vision (2018), Alejandro G. Iñárritu: CARNE y ARENA (2017), Guillermo Del Toro: At Home with Monsters (2016), and Robert Mapplethorpe: The Perfect Medium (2016).
