Borderless is 18th Street Arts Center’s monthly membership program focused on fostering connections between artists and cultural ambassadors who are committed to building healthy communities—wherever they are—through the arts. If you believe that a thriving arts community is key to addressing the major challenges of our time, we invite you to join us!

Facilitated by Patreon, Borderless Citizens are an integral part of our global artist think tank. You’ll be invited to regular Creative Roundtables, where you can meet and converse with artists and curators and share your work amongst peers. You'll also receive weekly curated emails detailing upcoming events and exhibitions, funding opportunities, and best practices for developing arts projects wherever you are.

Past Creative Roundtable guests have included Peter Wu+, curator of EPOCH gallery; Kris Kuramitsu, Senior Curator at Large at the Mistake Room; Robin Cembalest, former longtime editor of ARTnews; Becky Koblick, curator and director of Altman Siegel, San Francisco; and Erika Anderson, ED at Sarah Myerscough Gallery, London.

Join us at a monthly subscription level between $5 and $50 that best fits your household. All Citizens enjoy the same benefits.

The impact of joining Borderless

Your subscription supports the development of healthy communities by commissioning new public engagement artworks through our artist residencies and exhibitions, and our growing California Cultural Assets Map.

It’s our 35th Anniversary and we would love for you to be part of the celebrations. Become a Citizen today!
