Wendy Paris has spent twenty years working as a journalist for local and national newspapers, magazines and websites. She worked as an art reporter for KUHF-FM, a NPR affiliate in Houston, TX and has published art reviews and profiles in ArtNews, Sculpture, Houston Press and Boulevard in Paris. She has written for The New York Times, Psychology Today, The Guardian, Travel & Leisure and Self, among others. Paris is the author of two self-help books on dating and marriage. She was a 2012 Social Purpose Fellow, serving as the Director of Communications for Sustainable South Bronx. She is a 2014 Schwartz Fellow at the Washington D.C.-based New America Foundation and was a fellow at MacDowell Colony this June. She has an M.F.A. in Nonfiction Writing from Columbia University.
