Join 18th Street Arts Center and artists in residence for a weekend of artistic discovery as we host Open Studios at both of our campuses on March 2nd and 3rd!

Immerse yourself in the creative atmosphere as you meet over 30, local and visiting artists in residence over the course of the weekend. This is your chance to explore their works, gain insights into their creative processes, and perhaps find that perfect piece to add to your collection.

Enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries as you meet the artists in residence at the Airport Campus on March 2 or Olympic Campus on March 3. RSVP and find more details below. Pre-registration is greatly appreciated, but not required.

Please note that 18th Street Arts Center has TWO campuses located in Santa Monica. Please take heed that you are heading to the right campus.

Due to the limited number of parking spaces available, we recommend using transit, taxi or a rideshare service, such as Alto, Uber, or Lyft to get to this event.

By Rideshare

By Bus / Metro 

The closest rail stop is the Expo/Bundy Station on the Metro E Line. From the station, you can:

  • Take Big Blue Bus Route 14 towards Inglewood and get off at southbound Bundy Dr. at Airport Ave., which is a 4-minute walk from our campus or 
  • Alternatively, you can walk southbound on Bundy Dr. to Airport Ave., which is a 30-minute walk (1.5 miles) 

You can also take Big Blue Bus Route 8 to Ocean Park Blvd. and Bundy Dr., which is a 12-minute walk. You can download the Transit app to plan your trip with real-time bus and train arrival information. You can also download the TAP LA app to pay for tickets on the Big Blue Bus and Metro rides with your smartphone.

Is there parking available for this event?

This event takes place during Frieze Los Angeles. An extremely limited number of parking lot spaces are available, but are subject to availability and only available for purchase for Frieze ticket and pass holders. It's recommended to travel by transit, taxi or a rideshare service, such as Alto, Uber or Lyft.

Limited parking is available on our campus, but we recommend utilizing metered parking (which will be free during our event) on Olympic or 18th Street.

By Metro 

The closest rail stop is the 17th St / SMC Station on the Metro E Line. From the station, 18th Street Arts Center Olympic Campus is a short, 0.3 mile walk east from the station. We recommend utilizing the pedistrian/bike path between Olympic and Colorado.
