18th Street welcomes volunteers and student interns on an ongoing basis year-round. All that's required is a basic awareness of art and/or the arts scene in Los Angeles, organizational skills, and the willingness and enthusiasm to be
a part of one of Southern California's leading community-based, contemporary art centers!

Specific skills that may be of special use for our programs include:

• Mac computer skills
• Graphic design (web and/or print)
• Video shooting/editing
• Gallery installation
• Foreign language ability (Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Czech, Polish are current possibilities)
