Parisian artist, Tania Mouraud

Parisian artist, Tania Mouraud, is a figure of contemporary French art. Her work takes many different forms, while remaining based on a real social commitment and ontological questioning; it engages the viewer’s sense of self and the world in which it is located. Since the sixties, Tania Mouraud’s work has investigated the relationship between art and social connections through various mediums such as painting, installation, photo, sound, video, and performance. The artists work also explores the themes of art and war through the limitation of perception, using photo, sound and video to examine different aspects of History and Life.

Tania Mouraud’s Artist Residency has been sponsored by the AFAA (Association Francaise d’Action Artistique).
